Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Heiji Endo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Donas Donicas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Donicas is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Hyperpower - NIN. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donicas throws a one two combo.
Nice defenses there by Donicas.
Endo is looking to clinch but Donicas is avoiding it.
Endo wants to clinch up but Donicas keeps it at a distance.
Donicas misses with a double jab.
Donicas misses with a jab, cross combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Endo.
Donicas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Endo shoots for a double leg takedown but Donicas sprawls well. He's pushed Endo's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Endo scores with a jab to the jaw.
Endo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Donicas.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Donicas slaps away a takedown attempt from Endo, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Donicas slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Horrible takedown by Endo or perhaps it was just good defense by Donicas which made him look bad.

Donicas throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Endo dodges the punch combination from Donicas.
Endo throws a shot from downtown. Donicas moves away and avoids it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Donicas throws a one two combo.
Donicas throws out a loose jab but Endo uses good head movement to avoid it.
Endo looks to land a left hand but Donicas moved out of range nicely.

Endo takes a swing at Donicas's ribcage but misses.

Endo lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Endo is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Endo fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Donicas is out of range.

Endo trying to control the position from guard on top but Donicas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Donicas is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Endo is controlling him.

Endo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Donicas works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Endo wants to control from the top but Donicas keeps moving.

Endo drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Donicas manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Endo has Donicas in his guard.
Endo looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Endo thuds his right hand into Donicas's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Donicas throws a hook to the side of Endo's head but Endo sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Endo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Donicas but Donicas pushes him off and we're back to square one.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Donicas keeps the fight on the outside.
Donicas throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Endo is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
