0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Gavin Aloros! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Aloros circles away from the clinch attempt.
Aloros tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Bonesteel counters with a one-two to the body. Aloros lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Aloros throws a head kick that half lands.
Aloros misses with a takedown and Bonesteel counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Bonesteel blocks a jab. Bonesteel takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Bonesteel misses with a wild combination.
Aloros tries a head kick but it misses.
Aloros misses with a body shot.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Aloros is defended easily by Bonesteel.
That's one minute gone in the round. Aloros tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Bonesteel moves into the clinch. Aloros lands a knee to the head.
Bonesteel breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Aloros throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Bonesteel's head. Aloros tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Aloros tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bonesteel swats him away and circles back towards the center. A left and a right from Bonesteel both land. Nice combination. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Aloros is defended easily by Bonesteel. Charles Bonesteel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Gavin Aloros. A good leg kick by Aloros.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bonesteel tries to clinch there but Aloros circles away.
Bonesteel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aloros wants to clinch and Bonesteel counters with a two punch combo. Aloros throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Gavin Aloros seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Aloros avoids a punch combination nicely.
Bonesteel takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Aloros misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Aloros tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The fight stays on the outside here - Bonesteel looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Aloros lands with a nice combination. Bonesteel backs away looking to recover.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Aloros lands a high kick!
Aloros shoots for a double leg takedown but Bonesteel sprawls well. He's pushed Aloros's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Aloros throws a head kick but Bonesteel moves out of range.
Bonesteel throws a one two combo.
Aloros tries for a takedown but Bonesteel circles away easily and Bonesteel counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Aloros looks gassed! Aloros misses with a looping right. Aloros with a lazy takedown attempt and Bonesteel moves into the clinch. Aloros taking a breather. Bonesteel pulls guard. Bonesteel controls Aloros momentarily but Aloros frees himself. Aloros tries to free his leg and advance position but Bonesteel is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bonesteel manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Aloros's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Bonesteel has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Aloros's face.

Bonesteel is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Aloros is forced to tap! Great finish!
