Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ilan Rotberg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jensen Saint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jensen Saint has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ilan Rotberg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jensen Saint!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Daniel Franklin and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Saint avoids the body shot from Rotberg.
Saint shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Rotberg napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Saint is trying to move to mount but Rotberg reverses beautifully and ends up in Saint's guard.
Saint looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rotberg is one step ahead there.
Rotberg working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Saint is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Rotberg is aware though and is defending well.

Rotberg stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saint swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Saint has his foot on Rotberg's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rotberg works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Saint drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Saint jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Rotberg doesn't succeed with the takedown
so Saint counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Saint scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Rotberg pushes Saint off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Rotberg throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Saint sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Rotberg swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Saint swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rotberg throws a big shot that misses.
Ilan Rotberg seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Saint connects with a crisp jab.
Rotberg keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Rotberg slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

and Saint counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rotberg!

It looks like Ilan Rotberg has been cut.
Rotberg is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Rotberg is in a horrible position here. Saint smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

The referee warns Rotberg that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Rotberg tries to lock up and control but Saint gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Saint cracks Rotberg with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Jeez, Ilan Rotberg's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Ilan Rotberg's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
