Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cristian de Souza Augusto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Partacz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Adrian Partacz will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cristian de Souza Augusto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adrian Partacz! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yuuki Gou and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Partacz has a takedown stuffed. Adrian Partacz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Partacz throws and low kick but Augusto moves out of range easily. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Partacz. Partacz wants to clinch up but Augusto keeps it at a distance. Partacz tries for a takedown but Augusto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Nice takedown defense from Augusto. No joy for Partacz on that attempt. Cristian de Souza Augusto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Adrian Partacz. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Partacz shoots in but Augusto avoids the takedown attempt easily. Partacz tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Augusto paws at him with a jab and circles away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Augusto closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Augusto seems to be looking for submissions.

Augusto is breathing heavily. Augusto is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Partacz is just riding it out for now. Augusto eventually gives up the hold.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Partacz throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Partacz tries to clinch there but Augusto circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Augusto advances position into side control! Augusto is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Partacz knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Augusto wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Partacz, who protects the arm well. Augusto tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Augusto has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Augusto is trying to get an arm triangle but Partacz is defending well. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Partacz shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Augusto counters with a single leg into guard. Partacz didn't expect that. Augusto drops back looking for a leg! Partacz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Partacz manages to kick Augusto off! Augusto jumps back into Partacz's guard. Augusto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Augusto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Partacz can't keep his opponent in guard - Augusto advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Partacz has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Augusto is working away from the top position though. Augusto is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Partacz defends it well.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Augusto wants to pass the guard but Partacz is defending well. Partacz is looking for a sweep. Augusto is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Augusto seems to be working for a kimura but Partacz defends the submission attempt. Augusto is looking for a kimura here.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Partacz wants to sweep but no luck. Augusto drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Augusto jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Augusto stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Partacz swivels though and keeps the full guard. Augusto is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Partacz is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Partacz has escaped and now he's on top! Partacz trying to control the position from guard on top but Augusto is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Augusto is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Partacz is aware though and is defending well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Partacz thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Partacz really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Augusto. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Augusto had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Partacz defends it easily. Augusto preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Augusto keeping moving, preventing Partacz from controlling successfully. Augusto has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Partacz should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Augusto has tightened it up now! Partacz should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
