The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
GCz moves in looking to clinch but Jordan pushes him off.
Jordan slips a jab and a cross from GCz.
GCz looks for a takedown but Jordan sprawls well.
GCz throws a sloppy head kick and Jordan moves out of range easily.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

GCz tries to score a power double leg takedown but Jordan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten GCz somewhat.

Horrible takedown by Jordan or perhaps it was just good defense by GCz which made him look bad.

Jordan manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.

Jordan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but GCz pulls his head out easily.
Jordan throws a sloppy strike from the bottom. He's now off balance and GCz manages to pass to side control.

That was a close second round but I would say that Basteros GCz will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

GCz moves away from the strike by Jordan.
Jordan avoids a punch combination nicely.
GCz tries to clinch up but Jordan circles away and keeps his distance.

and GCz counters with a good, hard body kick but Jordan shrugs it off.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

GCz throws a wild body kick that Jordan sees coming a mile off.
Jordan takes a head kick and keeps coming.
GCz tries to clinch up but Jordan circles away and keeps his distance.

and Jordan counters with a nice double leg into side control. GCz won't be happy with that.
GCz takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Jordan throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Jordan in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Jordan in side control, throwing shots but GCz defends.
Jordan throwing strikes but GCz manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!

GCz stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
GCz looks to clinch
and Jordan counters with a low kick, right behind GCz 's knee.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
The fight stays on the outside here - GCz looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
GCz closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Basteros GCz has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hal Jordan.

Jordan is desperately trying to improve his position but GCz has a good base and remains in mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
GCz looking to control and managing it successfully.

GCz seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Jordan for as long as he can get away with.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Basteros GCz.
Well GCz has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
