Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between As Ej (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Drama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, As Ej!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Will Drama!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Chris Edwards and Sam Margolis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ej shoots in but Drama avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Drama moves into range and clinches up with Ej.

Drama breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ej tries for a takedown but Drama sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ej looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Drama is fending him off so far but Ej persists. Nope, Drama circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for As Ej. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Drama avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Ej moves in looking to clinch but Drama pushes him off.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ej looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Ej has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Drama is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ej in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Drama pulls Ej in to control the position.
Ej tries to free his leg and advance position but Drama is retaining full guard.
Ej is breathing heavily.
Drama wants to stand up but Ej is controlling him.
Ej stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Drama swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Drama is looking to stand up but Ej isn't so interested in that idea.

Drama looking for a guillotine here but Ej defends easily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ej shoots in for a takedown but Drama shows good takedown defense.

Drama bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Drama trying to control the action but Ej is working from the bottom.

Drama stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Drama moves into the clinch successfully.
Ej jumps guard but Drama stands there with Ej around his waist. Ej gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Drama escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Drama shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Drama showed some decent athleticism there.
Drama stalling.
Drama trying to control from half guard but Ej is working away.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ej tries to roll over but Drama keeps him under control.

Drama is looking for a kimura here.
Ej is trying to control but can't.
Ej keeping control of the position.
Drama stalling away here and it's allowed Ej to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Drama gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Ej thows a big elbow that misses.

Drama pushes Ej off and gets back to his feet.
Ej is looking to clinch.

Drama moves into the clinch.
Ej has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Drama is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Drama fails to pull the fight into his guard.

A shot in the inside from Ej.
Drama throws an elbow but it's blocked.

Drama jumps guard.
Ej wants to control from the top but Drama keeps moving.
Drama is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Ej drops back looking for a leg! Drama is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Drama manages to kick Ej off! Ej jumps back into Drama's guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Drama controlling the position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Ej takes one on the button.

Horrible takedown by Drama or perhaps it was just good defense by Ej which made him look bad.

Ej drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Drama is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ej is not content to let Drama control the position.

Ej manages to get to full guard.
Drama loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

Ej looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ej has a closed guard, preventing Drama from standing up.
Ej controls Drama momentarily but Drama frees himself.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Drama slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Drama slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Ej can't do much from the bottom here.

Ej throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!

Ej shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Drama but Drama pushes him off and we're back to square one.

A close second round but Will Drama will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!



Drama feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Will Drama has got the better of the ground game so far.

Ej is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

so Drama counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Drama wants to control from the top but Ej keeps moving.
Drama must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Drama decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ej, up you get!

Ej decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Drama is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Ej is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Ej has escaped and now he's on top!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Will Drama comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Drama has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
