Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Haye (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Tyke (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for David Haye has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, David Haye!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Phil Tyke!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyke takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Tyke shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Tyke tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Haye is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Haye trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Tyke misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Haye on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Haye tries to get out of the position.
Tyke content just to control the position here.

Tyke trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Haye bucks Tyke off and manages to get back to his feet!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Haye scores with a nice head shot.
Haye blocks the body kick.
Haye scores to the head and body with a nice combination!


It looks like Phil Tyke has been cut.
Haye connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Tyke is looking to clinch.

Haye closes the distance and clinches.
Tyke tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Haye smiles and moves away.
Haye rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tyke moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Tyke feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Tyke is looking to work some ground and pound but Haye has wrist control.
Tyke passes Haye's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Tyke is trying to control the action in half guard but Haye is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Haye scores with a nice strike.
Tyke slips a jab and a cross from Haye.
Haye lands a jab to the head.
Haye lunges at Tyke with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Tyke's hand.
David Haye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Haye lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Tyke circles away quickly and effectively.
Nice sprawl there from Haye as Tyke shoots in.
Tyke shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Haye pinned against the cage. Haye gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
The fight stays on the outside here - Tyke looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Tyke shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Haye napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Haye misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Haye works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Tyke looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
David Haye has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Phil Tyke.
Tyke is breathing heavily.
Haye works over Tyke's head and body with a nice combination.
Haye jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
A combination from Haye does no damage.
Haye scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Tyke avoids the head kick by Haye.
Haye throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Haye misses with a series of wild punches.

Tyke takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Haye scores with a nice body kick.
Haye slaps away a takedown attempt from Tyke, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Haye leaves Tyke with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Haye will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Haye catches Tyke with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Haye throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Haye pushes Tyke up against the cage in a clinch.

Tyke's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Haye misses with a double jab.
Haye throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tyke on the side of the head.

Tyke tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Haye swivels and escapes.
Haye throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Haye throws a nice looking combination but Tyke bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tyke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tyke has a takedown stuffed.
Haye throws a right hand that Tyke ducks under and follows up with a left that Tyke also avoids with ease.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Haye misses with a jab, cross combination.
Haye swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Tyke fails with a takedown attempt.
Tyke gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Haye moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.
Haye lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tyke clinches but Haye breaks the clinch
and Haye counters with a left and a right that stings Tyke.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Haye lands a with a good body shot.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Tyke.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Haye's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Haye throws a nice looking combination but Tyke bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Haye here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.
A punch combination from Haye misses.
Haye tries to bum rush Tyke with a series of wild strikes but Tyke uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Tyke wants to control the pace but Haye is squirming around nicely.
Tyke lands a nice shot to the head.

Tyke cracks Haye with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Tyke lands a nice shot to the head.
Tyke thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Haye wants to try and get back to his feet.
Tyke looking to control and managing it successfully.

Tyke stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
