Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Grey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Equator (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Equator has chosen Vodka Inferno as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Grey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Arnold Equator! The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Chad Campbell and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Equator looks to land a left hand but Grey moved out of range nicely. Grey takes a shot right to the bread basket. A head kick from Grey lands but Equator takes it in his stride. Grey takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Equator throws a hook but Grey blocks it. Equator lunges at Grey with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Grey's hand. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Equator throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Grey. Equator misses with the combination.
Equator throws a right and a left that Grey avoids nicely. Equator with a nice cross. Equator lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like John Grey has been cut. Equator looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Equator tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Grey was well out of range. Poor timing from Equator. Grey displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Equator throws out the jab. Grey staying out of range there. Equator misses with a double jab.

That's one minute gone in the round. Equator takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Arnold Equator is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Equator throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Grey shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Equator manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Equator wants to get back to his feet but Grey is in a dominant position and won't allow it. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Grey scores with a decent looking elbow strike. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Equator can do anything to dispel that myth. Grey thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Equator is looking to stand up but Grey isn't so interested in that idea. Grey throwing strikes from guard but Equator blocks nicely. Equator is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Grey is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Grey is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Equator will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Equator loads up on a big right hand but Grey slips the punch. Grey blocks a head kick by Equator.

Equator misses the jab. Grey throws a leg kick which misses Equator's front leg but catches the back leg as Equator tries to avoid it. Equator looks gassed! Grey fails to land the takedown. Equator throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Grey. Equator throws a lazy right hand but Grey sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Grey avoids a punch combination nicely.
Grey dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Equator. That did some damage! Equator on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Grey. Grey obviously looking to wear him down.
Grey slips a jab and a cross from Equator.
Equator misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Grey shoots in for a double leg but Equator sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Grey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Grey lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Grey closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Grey is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Equator has escaped the position, nice work there. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Grey looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Grey lands a decent elbow from side control. Grey has hold of Equator's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Equator seems comfortable defending it but Grey has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Equator is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Equator is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Grey couldn't care less - he's delighted!
