The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Matheus Silva and Luis Engracia.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nogueira slips a jab and a cross from Silva.
Nogueira looks to throw the jab but Silva is out of range.
Silva misses with a two punch combination.

Silva moves into range and clinches up with Nogueira.
Silva lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!

It looks like Juan Nogueira has been cut.
Silva landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.

Nogueira is trying to drag Silva to the mat but Silva just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Silva throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nogueira blocks it with crossed arms.
Silva misses with a knee to the head.
Nogueira wants a takedown but no success here.

Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Silva stuffs the takedown attempt from Nogueira. Nogueira gets slowly back to his feet.

Silva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Silva throws a right and a left that Nogueira avoids nicely.

Nogueira drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Nogueira throws and elbow that misses. Silva uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Nogueira's guard. Nice move by Silva!

Nogueira is working an open guard so Silva takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
Nogueira throws a looping overhand right but Silva ducks down to avoid it.
Wanderlei Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nogueira throws a jab when Silva was well out of range.
Silva scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Nogueira is breathing heavily.

Nogueira throws a leg kick but Silva checks it.
Silva throws a series of punches but Nogueira avoids them all with ease.
Nogueira shoots for a takedown but Silva saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nogueira looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Silva is fending him off so far but Nogueira persists. Nope, Silva circles away and we're back to standing.
Silva misses with a wild combination.
Nogueira keeps the fight on the outside.
Silva cracks the inside of Nogueira's front leg.

Silva tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nogueira paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Silva lands a big head kick that sends Nogueira tumbling to the mat! Silva takes a step backwards and waves Nogueira back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Silva connects with a nice cross there... Nogueira is looking wobbly and Silva recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Nogueira to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Silva jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
