Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Afu takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Boris Smirnov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Afu misses with a head kick.
Smirnov blocks a head kick by Afu.
Smirnov rushes Afu and presses him up against the cage.
Smirnov's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Nice takedown defense from Smirnov. No joy for Afu on that attempt.
Smirnov leaves Afu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Smirnov lands an elbow inside that Afu shrugs off.
It looks like Troy Afu has been cut.
Smirnov creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Afu's defenses.
Smirnov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Smirnov leaves Afu with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Troy Afu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Smirnov throws a series of punches but Afu moves out of range.
Smirnov sends Afu crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Smirnov is motioning to the referee to let Afu up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Afu is rocked!

Smirnov lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.

The fighters are battling for dominant position up against the cage here. Smirnov manages to get control of his opponent's head and throws a big knee - Afu drops to the canvas! He's done! Smirnov goes wild and celebrates with his corner - this is a big victory for him and to get the win in such devastating fashion will certainly boost his reputation amongst the fans!
