Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Annoited Blade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Boris Jeltzin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Annoited Blade has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jeltzin throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Blade cracks Jeltzin with a good jab.

Jeltzin is rocked!

Blade closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Blade lands in his opponent's guard.
Jeltzin is still in real trouble! Can Blade finish him?
Jeltzin is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Blade controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Blade pushes down on Jeltzin's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Blade decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.

Jeltzin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Blade. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Blade's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Annoited Blade just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Blade scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jeltzin stuffs the takedown attempt from Blade. Blade gets slowly back to his feet.

Jeltzin feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Blade really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Jeltzin would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Blade will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Blade is on top in guard.

Blade connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Jeltzin some visible discomfort.

Blade stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Blade lands with a shot to the body.
Blade scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Jeltzin misses with an uppercut. Blade saw that one coming.

Blade fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jeltzin, pushing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Jeltzin wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Blade has him pressed against the cage.
Blade tries for a takedown. No joy.
Blade tries to stall but Jeltzin uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Jeltzin keeps control of Blade as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Blade wants to break the clinch but can't.
Jeltzin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Blade just stands there and leans against the cage.
Jeltzin wants to break free but Blade has control.
Blade tries to pull guard but Jeltzin holds him up against the cage and eventually Blade drops back down to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Annoited Blade. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jeltzin breaks the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Annoited Blade dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Jeltzin throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Boris Jeltzin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blade shoots in and drives through. Jeltzin sprawls well.
A head kick misses from Blade.

and Jeltzin counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Jeltzin.

Blade is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Jeltzin is surviving well by controlling Blade's body position as best he can.

Blade jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jeltzin manages to avoid the submission attempt.
The referee asks Blade politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Blade prefers to stall for the moment though.

Blade is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Jeltzin looks calm but he's in trouble here. Blade gets his head over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Jeltzin is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Blade lets go of the hold and Jeltzin can pop his arm back in it's socket.
