Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ronald Wright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Redknack Bob (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bob has chosen Raised Fist - Friends And Traitors as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ronald Wright! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Redknack Bob! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Wright misses. Redknack Bob seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bob shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Wright as he avoids it easily. An inside leg kick from Bob misses. Bob shoots in and bounces Wright off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bob throwing strikes from guard but Wright blocks nicely. Bob prevents Wright from getting back to his feet. Bob drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bob jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Wright wants to stand but Bob is controlling the position. Bob looking to pass the guard. Wright wants to stand but Bob is controlling the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Bob buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Bob throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bob avoids the body shot from Wright.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bob, right into the meat.
Bob ducks under a wild hook from Wright. Nice sprawl there from Wright as Bob shoots in. Bob rushes Wright and presses him up against the cage. Wright blocks an uppercut.
Wright pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nice jab there from Wright.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wright blocks a jab. Wright jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bob fails to land with a series of punches.
Bob uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Wright. Bob throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wright connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Bob momentarily.
Bob jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bob connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Wright throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Wright with a body punch. A glancing blow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bob, right into the meat.
Wright misses with a straight right. Bob throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Wright connects with a crisp jab. Bob throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bob uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Wright. Wright misses the jab. Bob chopping away at his opponent's legs.
A looping hook to the body misses from Bob. Wright does a little dance to reset his feet. Bob throws a hook but Wright avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bob throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Bob throws a leg kick but Wright sees it coming and checks it nicely. Wright avoids the body shot from Bob.
Wright checks a low kick from Bob. Ronald Wright is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bob ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Wright dodges the punch combination from Bob.
Bob closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Bob trying to control the action but Wright is working from the bottom. Wright is trying to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Redknack Bob will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

and Wright connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Bob looks to land a left hand but Wright moved out of range nicely. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bob is defended easily by Wright. Wright lands a really nice looking cross but Bob seems unphased.
Wright misses with a hook. Bob ducked under it nicely. Wright tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bob is able to avoid easily. Nice jab there from Wright. Bob throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wright blocks a low kick nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob is looking to clinch. Wright throws a lazy right hand but Bob sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Bob takes one on the button. Bob swings away with a leg kick that misses. Wright takes a swing at Bob's ribcage but misses. A big left from Wright misses. An inside leg kick from Bob misses. Bob darts in and clinches Wright up against the cage. Bob missing with knees to the body.
Wright is trying to force a seperation but Bob has the dominant position. Bob has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wright is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Wright has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Bob looking to throw knees to the head but Wright is blocking nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wright working hard to break the clinch. Bob pushes Wright back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Wright working hard to break the clinch. Bob is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body. Wright can't break the clinch.
Bob throws a head punch that misses. Bob has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Wright is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Ronald Wright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Redknack Bob. Wright wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Wright tries to break the clinch but Bob is controlling the position. Bob lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Wright wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Wright takes a knee to the side of the body. Wright looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Wright blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Bob is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Bob is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Wright is defending well for now. Wright wants to break free but Bob has control.
Bob scores with a shot to the side of Wright's head. Bob tries a body shot but Wright blocks it.
Wright tries to circle away but Bob has him pinned against the cage. Bob keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Wright's efforts to push away. Wright avoiding damage as Bob throws knees to the body.
Wright wants to break the clinch but can't.

Bob blocks a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Wright bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Bob's head backwards. Bob wants to clinch but Wright slips to the side and Wright counters with a stiff right hand. Bob is looking to clinch. Wright scores with a jab to the head.
Bob uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Wright. Donk. Wright catches Bob right on the button with a cross. Wright lands a jab to the head.
Wright avoids the body shot from Bob.
Bob misses with a shot to the body and Wright counters with a straight right hand. Wright listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. The fighters circling - Wright throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Bob is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Wright rather than just go for the knockout. Wright walks into a left hand. Wright ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Bob is breathing heavily. Wright waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Bob. Bob scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wright doesn't seem bothered though. Bob walks into a stiff left hand from Wright. Bob fails with the takedown. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Nice cross by Wright. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bob drops his hands momentarily and Wright takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Wright ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Bob misses with an uppercut. Wright saw that one coming. Bob misses with a body shot
and Wright counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Wright misses with a straight left. Bob slips a straight right by Wright. Wright lands a really nice looking cross but Bob seems unphased.

and Wright counters with a stiff right hand. Ronald Wright is winning the standup battle so far. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bob is defended easily by Wright. Bob takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bob is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Bob throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land. Wright throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Bob slips under a jab. Bob slips under a jab. Bob takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Bob takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wright slips a jab from Bob. Bob ducks under a wild hook from Wright. Wright misses with a straight right. That's three minutes gone in the round. Bob has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Bob there as he acknowledges the shot. Bob moves away from the strike by Wright. Bob closes the distance but Wright moves to the side and Wright counters with a right hand to the body. A big left from Wright misses. Wright lands with a hook. Bob tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Wright lands a big uppercut and Bob crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Bob looks OK. Wright waves Bob back to his feet!
Bob is rocked! Bob misses with an uppercut. Wright saw that one coming. Bob is still on wobbly legs! Can Wright finish him? Wright loads up on a big right hand but Bob slips the punch. Bob seems to have recovered his senses.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Wright looks to land a left hand but Bob moved out of range nicely. Wright throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Bob sees it coming and avoids it easily. Bob wants to clinch but Wright slips to the side enabling Wright to counter with a crisp jab. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Bob throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Wright takes a swing at Bob's ribcage but misses. A swing and a miss from Wright. Bob swinging wildly here.
Wright thows a left - swing and a miss! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Wright throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
And that's the end of the fight! Ronald Wright showed his dominance in that final round. I think Wright has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
