Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Todd Kimble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Booya Kasha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Todd Kimble!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Booya Kasha!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Kasha looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Kimble uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Kasha has time to react.
Kasha doesn't manage to clinch there - Kimble circles away.
Kimble really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Kasha throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kimble tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kasha was well out of range. Poor timing from Kimble.

Kimble gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Kimble has Kasha pressed against the cage, preventing Kasha from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Kasha pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

and Kasha counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Kasha.
Kimble can't find room to land a body shot as Kasha controls the action.

Kasha wants to control from the top but Kimble keeps moving.

Kimble manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kasha wants to get back to his feet.
Kimble controlling the pace for now.
You get the feeling that Kasha really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Kimble takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Kasha is desperately trying to improve his position but Kimble has a good base and remains in mount.

Kimble has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

The referee stands the fighters back up. Todd Kimble just wasn't active enough from the dominant position.
Kasha shoots for a takedown but Kimble saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Kasha darts in and clinches Kimble up against the cage.

Kasha misses with a jab, cross combination.
Kasha scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Kimble lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Kasha at a distance.
Kimble fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kimble tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kasha swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Kimble displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kasha throws out the jab.

and Kimble holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kimble lands a shot to the body.

Kasha pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Kimble throws a hook but Kasha avoids it easily.
Kimble blocks a jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Todd Kimble dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Kimble takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Kasha fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Kimble looks to land a combination. Kasha sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Kasha tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Kimble swivels and escapes.
Kasha swings for the body but Kimble moves out of range.
Kasha tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Kimble shoots in for a takedown but Kasha shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Kimble fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Kasha avoids it really well and circles away.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Kasha tries to score a power double leg takedown but Kimble sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Kasha somewhat.
Kasha looks to throw the jab but Kimble is out of range.

so Kasha counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

Kimble keeping moving, preventing Kasha from controlling successfully.
Kasha trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kimble's guard.
Kimble is looking to stand up but Kasha isn't so interested in that idea.
Kasha really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kimble. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Kasha throws and elbow that misses. Kimble uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kasha's guard. Nice move by Kimble!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Kasha wants to stand up but Kimble is controlling him.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Kimble swats away the attempt to clinch by Kasha.
Kimble is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Kasha throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kasha stuffs the takedown attempt from Kimble. Kimble gets slowly back to his feet.

Kasha fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kimble, pushing him back against the cage.
Kimble has Kasha pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kasha manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Kasha.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Booya Kasha showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Booya Kasha comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Kasha has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
