The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Japan pushes Zvonimir up against the cage in a clinch.
Japan gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Zvonimir.
Zvonimir is trying to break free.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Japan.
Zvonimir tries to pull guard but Japan holds him up against the cage and eventually Zvonimir drops back down to his feet.

Zvonimir tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Zvonimir has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Zvonimir thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Zvonimir swings around for an armbar but Japan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Zvonimir's guard.
