Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ruiz Alves Coloccini!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Mauricio Rocha and Thiago Cunha.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Two closes the distance and clinches up with Coloccini, looking for a takedown. Two pushes Coloccini against the cage but Coloccini circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Two shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Coloccini as he avoids it easily.

Coloccini closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Coloccini stands up and beckons Two to his feet.

Coloccini feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Coloccini is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Coloccini's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Two has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Coloccini has passed into side control.
Coloccini really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Two. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Two is looking to get full guard. It looks like he might be successful but at the last minute Coloccini jumps into side control!

Coloccini must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Two is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Two has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Coloccini can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Coloccini passes Two's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Coloccini passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Two!
Coloccini is trying to take his opponent's back.
Coloccini manages to capitalize on a mistake by Two to take his back!
Coloccini is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Two rolls, trying to escape but Coloccini keeps control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!



Coloccini takes the fight into the clinch.
Coloccini just leaning against Two, taking a breather.
Two could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Two tries to pull guard but Coloccini holds him up against the cage and eventually Two drops back down to his feet.

Coloccini has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Two stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Coloccini swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Two sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Coloccini's guard.

Two wants to work for an arm triangle but Coloccini is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Coloccini kicks Two off and gets back to his feet.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Two looking to hit a scissor sweep but Coloccini is one step ahead there.

Two had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Coloccini is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Two Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Coloccini's back instead.

Coloccini is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Two gets his way!

Two is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Coloccini defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Two has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Coloccini! Can he survive? No! He's out! Two gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Juan Two!
