Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Reaper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kwan Lee Hong!
The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hong throws a right and a left that both miss.
Reaper checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Reaper changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hong looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Reaper content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Reaper working the head and body with strikes.
Hong tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Reaper wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Reaper working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
Reaper sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Hong is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Hong is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Reaper is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Hong is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Hong is looking to regain half guard here but Reaper keeps moving and retains side control.
Hong dodges the ground and pound from Reaper.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reaper looks up at the clock and then as Hong takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Reaper smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Reaper thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Reaper lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Hong down.
Reaper tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Reaper is chipping away with strikes.
Reaper postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Reaper in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Hong is trying to get back to half guard.
Reaper lands some shots froms side control.
Hong is looking to reverse the position.

Reaper throwing shots but missing, from side control.

Reaper is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Hong looks calm but he's in trouble here. Reaper gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Hong is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Reaper lets go of the hold and Hong can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). John Reaper!
