Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Cody Bunnell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tore Bross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bross has chosen Straight Outta Compton as his entrance music. Cody Bunnell has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Cody Bunnell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tore Bross! The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bunnell shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bross as he avoids it easily. Bunnell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bross tries to avoid it but Bunnell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bross to the ground. Bross escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Bunnell checks a leg kick nicely. Bross stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bross wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cody Bunnell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bross throws a solid leg kick but Bunnell takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Bross. Bross tries to score with a low kick but Bunnell moves his leg out of the way. Bross pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bunnell is out of range and Bross settles back down. A good leg kick by Bross. Bross shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bunnell manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bunnell lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bross! Bunnell will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Bross is desperately trying to improve his position but Bunnell has a good base and remains in mount. Bunnell really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bunnell can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bross is looking to escape. Bross is in all sorts of trouble here.
Bross is squirming around, avoiding Bunnell's attempts to control the action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bross is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Bross stops Bunnell from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Bunnell is breathing heavily. Bross is trying desperately to improve position. Bross tries to lock up and control but Bunnell gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Bross tries to get back to half guard but can't. Bross manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Bunnell wants to pass the guard but Bross is keeping the position. Bross is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bunnell sitting in guard, not really doing much. Bross looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bunnell is one step ahead there. Bross looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Despite being in the dominant position, Tore Bross just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Bross throws a leg kick but Bunnell moved away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tore Bross dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Bunnell misses with a takedown attempt and Bross counters with a shoot takedown. Bunnell fights it but they end up in guard. Bunnell is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Bross thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Bunnell is trying to control the position but Bross postures up. Bross stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bunnell swivels though and keeps the full guard. Bross forces his way into half guard. Bross is looking for a kimura but Bunnell is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bross to get the leverage. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bross is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Bunnell has managed to free his arm - good work. Bross wants to pass to mount but Bunnell is defending the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bunnell moves into full guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bross prevents Bunnell from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bunnell wants to control but Bross is keeping busy.

Bross is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bunnell is just riding it out for now. Bross eventually gives up the hold. Bross is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Bunnell defends it well.

Bross drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Bunnell manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Bross has Bunnell in his guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Tore Bross showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Bunnell doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bross counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Bross, right into the meat.
Bross tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Bunnell is able to avoid easily. Bross does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Bunnell with a poor takedown and Bross counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bunnell! Bross wants to control the pace but Bunnell is squirming around nicely. Bross has hold of Bunnell's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Bunnell manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Bunnell has given up his back.

Bross working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet. Bunnell tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Tore Bross has got the better of the ground game so far. Bross swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bunnell is now in Bross's guard. A big mistake from Bross there, giving up the dominant position! Bross is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bunnell defends well. Bunnell wants to control from the top but Bross keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bross is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Bross seems to be working for a kimura but Bunnell defends the submission attempt. Bross is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Bross is thwarting Bunnell's attempts to control the position. Bunnell is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Bross is trying to work for a kimura but Bunnell is defending well.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bross fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Bunnell checks it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Bunnell shoots and misses and Bross counters with a good low kick that Bunnell was not able to check. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Cody Bunnell. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bunnell blocks a leg kick. Bross pivots, looking for a leg kick but Bunnell is out of range and Bross settles back down. Bross finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bunnell shoots and misses and Bross makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Bross attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Bross tries a low kick but Bunnell avoids it. An inside leg kick from Bross misses. Bross decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Cody Bunnell has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Tore Bross is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bross is trying to work for a kimura but Bunnell is defending well.
And that's the end of the fight! Tore Bross comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Bross has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
