0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Raf Gon DIas! The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Hugh Johnson and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gon DIas misses with a straight right. J Scarborough looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Gon DIas swings for the body but J Scarborough moves out of range.
Gon DIas throws the left hand but J Scarborough avoids the punch easily. J Scarborough leaves Gon DIas with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Gon DIas lands a straight punch to the body, keeping J Scarborough at a distance.
J Scarborough is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Gon DIas's half guard. Gon DIas desperately trying to maintain half guard. Gon DIas trying to hold on to J Scarborough's head to control him but J Scarborough postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gon DIas is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but J Scarborough is staying active. Gon DIas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with J Scarborough. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Gon DIas tries to get to full guard but J Scarborough has control of the leg.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. J Scarborough takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. J Scarborough swats away the attempt to clinch by Gon DIas. Gon DIas misses with a body shot.

It looks like Devon J Scarborough has been cut. Gon DIas is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down J Scarborough rather than just go for the knockout. Gon DIas misses the shot to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Gon DIas is pressing down on J Scarborough's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gon DIas has control of J Scarborough's left arm, preventing J Scarborough from doing any damage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Raf Gon DIas will probably get the nod - 10:9. The cut man is working on Devon J Scarborough's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Gon DIas throws a sloppy head kick and J Scarborough moves out of range easily. A swing and a miss from Gon DIas. Gon DIas throws the left hand but J Scarborough avoids the punch easily. Gon DIas with a poor takedown so J Scarborough counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. J Scarborough wants to stand but Gon DIas is controlling his posture from full guard. Gon DIas wants to sweep here but J Scarborough controlling him for the moment. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gon DIas wants to get back to his feet but J Scarborough is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Gon DIas has control of J Scarborough's left arm, preventing J Scarborough from doing any damage. Gon DIas not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. J Scarborough being controlled here momentarily. Gon DIas manages to escape and get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gon DIas throws a leg kick but J Scarborough checks it. Gon DIas will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
J Scarborough slips under a jab. Gon DIas takes a swing at J Scarborough's ribcage but misses. Gon DIas with a jab. J Scarborough takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. J Scarborough moves out of range as Gon DIas strikes. Gon DIas clinches but J Scarborough breaks the clinch and J Scarborough counters with a nice double leg into side control. Gon DIas won't be happy with that. Gon DIas is trying to control J Scarborough's posture but J Scarborough avoids it.
And that's the end of the fight! Devon J Scarborough showed his dominance in that final round. I think Gon DIas has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
