Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between KO Pain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trey Money (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pain has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, KO Pain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Trey Money!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Money tries to close the distance and clinch but Pain swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Pain dodges the punch combination from Money.
Money wants to clinch up but Pain keeps it at a distance.
The fighters circle momentarily. Money darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Pain bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Money tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pain wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Money pushes Pain away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Pain gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Money wants to control but Pain postures up.
Pain lands a nice forearm strike.
You can see the frustration on Money's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Money regains half guard, as Pain was trying to land strikes.
Pain takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Pain creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Money sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Pain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Pain looks up at the clock and then as Money takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pain smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Pain's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Pain is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Money trying to control the position from guard on top but Pain is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Pain, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
