Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Larry Finley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and JeanGuy Rubberboot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Finley as Rubberboot shoots in.
Finley misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Rubberboot fails with an attempt to clinch.
Rubberboot tries for a takedown but Finley sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Finley tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Rubberboot was well out of range. Poor timing from Finley.

Larry Finley has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of JeanGuy Rubberboot.
Rubberboot shoots for a takedown but Finley saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Larry Finley seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Finley goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Rubberboot darts in and clinches Finley up against the cage.

Rubberboot is keen to just control but Finley is a slippery customer.

Rubberboot is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Finley is just riding it out for now. Rubberboot eventually gives up the hold.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Rubberboot throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage.
Finley takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Rubberboot creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Finley sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Rubberboot working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Rubberboot is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Finley knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Rubberboot decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Finley, up you get!

Rubberboot changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Finley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
