Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Ravia!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Daniel Cesar and Alexandre Firmino.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kingler stuffs the takedown.

Kingler throws the kick towards the body but Ravia avoids it.

Ravia rushes Kingler and presses him up against the cage.

Kingler thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Ravia if he has to take too many more of those.
Kingler walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Ravia checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Kingler throws a sloppy head kick and Ravia moves out of range easily.
Krabby Kingler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Ravia looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Kingler is fending him off so far but Ravia persists. Nope, Kingler circles away and we're back to standing.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Ravia throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Kingler tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Kingler looks to land a body kick but Ravia moved away.

Ravia feints and as Kingler raises his hands in defense, Ravia changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Kingler wants to get back to his feet but Ravia is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Horrible takedown by Ravia or perhaps it was just good defense by Kingler which made him look bad.

Ravia's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Kingler, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
