Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between C Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Duke Lighternot (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lighternot has chosen Idle Hands as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duke Lighternot! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lighternot dodges the punch combination from Liddell.
Liddell misses with a series of wild punches.
Liddell throws a series of punches but Lighternot avoids them all with ease. Liddell lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lighternot circles away quickly and effectively. Lighternot moves in looking to clinch but Liddell pushes him off. Liddell misses with a few strikes there.

Liddell throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Lighternot tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Liddell swivels and escapes. Liddell misses with the combination.
Lighternot clinches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Liddell blocks an uppercut.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. The fight moves into the clinch position. Lighternot tries to score a body lock takedown but Liddell shows good agility there to stay on his feet. C Liddell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Lighternot working Liddell over with strikes. Nice strikes from Lighternot there. Lighternot thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. A combination from Liddell does no damage. Liddell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Liddell throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lighternot. Liddell misses with a few strikes there.
Liddell is breathing heavily. Liddell tries to bum rush Lighternot with a series of wild strikes but Lighternot uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Lighternot tries to clinch up. Liddell tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lighternot was well out of range. Poor timing from Liddell. C Liddell seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Liddell swinging wildly here.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Lighternot. Lighternot lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Lighternot lands a nice forearm strike. Lighternot wants to control but Liddell is keeping him busy. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

C Liddell is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lighternot scores with a takedown into Liddell's guard. Lighternot stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Liddell swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lighternot throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Liddell works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Liddell wants to get back to his feet but Lighternot is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Liddell avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Liddell pushes Lighternot off and gets back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lighternot gets the takedown into side control. Liddell avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Lighternot. Liddell is trying to control Lighternot's posture but Lighternot avoids it. Lighternot scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Liddell to see if he's OK. Lighternot tries to score with some ground and pound. Liddell controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Liddell bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! That was a close second round but I would say that C Liddell will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Duke Lighternot's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!

Liddell is keeping the position for now. Lighternot stands and throws Liddell's legs to the side, diving into side control. Liddell is pushing Lighternot's head away, looking to escape. Lighternot manages to hold on to the position though. Liddell trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Lighternot scores with a couple of short elbows. Liddell pushes Lighternot away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Lighternot gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Lighternot wants to lay and pray for a moment but Liddell keeps working. Liddell gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Lighternot throwing shots but Liddell is blocking nicely. Lighternot seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Liddell does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Lighternot lands strikes from half guard.

Lighternot is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Lighternot looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Liddell with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Lighternot changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Liddell looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Duke Lighternot has got the better of the ground game so far. Lighternot works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Lighternot working the ground and pound. Liddell is not content to let Lighternot control the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lighternot looks up at the clock and then as Liddell takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Lighternot smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

And that's the end of the fight! Duke Lighternot comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Lighternot has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
