Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terrance Fortuna (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Manfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Manfield will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Manfield keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Manfield fails to land with a series of punches.
Manfield connects with a right hand. Fortuna shakes it off.

It looks like Terrance Fortuna has been cut.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Fortuna.
Fortuna is looking to take a break and control but Manfield is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Manfield is looking to reverse the position.
Check out the look on Fortuna's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Fortuna lands a few punches from side control.
Fortuna has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Manfield is looking to regain half guard here but Fortuna keeps moving and retains side control.

Fortuna thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Manfield's head.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Fortuna lands a nice short elbow.

Manfield is trying to stand back up but Fortuna is controlling him

Manfield is refusing to be controlled, as Fortuna sits in half guard.
Fortuna looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Manfield with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Fortuna seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Fortuna is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Manfield avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Fortuna.
Fortuna throwing shots but Manfield is blocking nicely.
Manfield is trying to stand up here but Fortuna is controlling him well.

Fortuna tries to pass the half guard into mount. Manfield knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Manfield is trying is best to control the position here.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A swing and a miss from Manfield.
Fortuna takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Manfield scores with a hook.
Fortuna will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
A jab from Manfield finds it's way through Fortuna's defenses.

Manfield keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.

Terrance Fortuna's cut is getting worse.
Manfield with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Fortuna is breathing heavily.
Manfield lands a nice hook to Fortuna's body. Fortuna takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Good shot there by Manfield.
Manfield drops Fortuna with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Fortuna! Manfield dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
