And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marek Gamon!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage wants to slow Gamon down by chopping away at his legs.
No joy there for Gamon, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Gamon looks to land a combination but Savage avoids it well.
Savage takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Savage lands a glancing blow to the side of Gamon's head.
Gamon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Savage tries to avoid it but Gamon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Savage to the ground. Savage escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gamon looks gassed!
Gamon tries to clinch up.

Savage closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Gamon is trying to get back to half guard.
The strikes coming from Savage are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Savage throws a strike aimed at the side of Gamon's head but Gamon avoids it well.
Savage just content to control the position.

Savage is trying to get an arm triangle but Gamon is defending well.

Savage is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Gamon is trying to escape and Savage transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Gamon is forced to tap! Nice work there by Savage! Very nice indeed!
