Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hisoka Misawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arnold Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Misawa with a nice cross.

Palmer avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Misawa.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Misawa is looking to take a break and control but Palmer is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Palmer is looking for a sweep. Misawa is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Palmer tries to roll over but Misawa keeps him under control.

Misawa seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Palmer takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

and Misawa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Misawa's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Misawa lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Palmer with a lazy takedown attempt
and Misawa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Palmer won't be happy with that.
Misawa thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Misawa takes a little break here. Palmer wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Misawa creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Palmer sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Misawa remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Palmer is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Misawa off and has taken his back!
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Palmer misses with a punch to the head.
Palmer struggling to land strikes to the head as Misawa covers up.
Palmer throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch.
Palmer is throwing strikes by Misawa counters by rolling into a better position. After a scramble, Misawa regains half guard.
Palmer thows a huge punch but Misawa dodges it nicely.
Palmer thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Misawa to regain full guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Misawa is on top in guard.

Misawa wants to control from the top but Palmer keeps moving.
Misawa is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Misawa not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Palmer throws and elbow that misses. Misawa uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Palmer's guard. Nice move by Misawa!

Hisoka Misawa dominated that second round.
That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Misawa changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Palmer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Misawa.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Misawa shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Palmer misses with a takedown
and Misawa counters with a nice low kick that buckles Palmer's knee momentarily.

A nice inside leg kick there by Misawa. That's going to slow Palmer down.
Palmer avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Misawa shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Palmer sprawls well. Palmer wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Misawa gets slowly back to his feet.
Arnold Palmer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Palmer ducks under a wild hook from Misawa.
Palmer has his takedown stuffed
and Misawa cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A clash of legs there as Palmer blocks the low kick.
Hisoka Misawa is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
Misawa throws a hook to the side of Palmer's head but Palmer sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Palmer shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Misawa counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Palmer!
Hisoka Misawa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Arnold Palmer.

Palmer tries to hold on but Misawa pushes him away.
Misawa can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Palmer is looking to escape.
Misawa tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well Misawa has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
