Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Seth Blind! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Quinten Duncan! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blind looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Duncan should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Blind shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Duncan defends it nicely. Duncan looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Blind! Duncan trying to control but he's not successful this time. Duncan is standing up, even though he is in mount. Duncan tries to clinch up. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Duncan is defended easily by Blind. Blind really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Blind misses with a takedown and Duncan counters with a takedown into side control. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Seth Blind. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blind prevents Duncan from moving into mount. Blind is trying to improve his position. Duncan is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Blind knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blind is looking for a sweep. Duncan wants to control but Blind is keeping him busy. Blind manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Blind moves into full mount! Duncan won't be happy about that! Blind prevents Duncan from getting the reversal. Duncan is trying to stand up. Blind avoids the attempt from Duncan to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Blind connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Blind working for a guillotine from mount but Duncan is in no mood to give up. Blind throwing shots from mount but they're not landing. Duncan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Blind lands a big shot there that rocks Duncan but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Blind throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blind jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Duncan is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Duncan and Blind has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
Blind is breathing heavily. Duncan wants to get back to his feet but Blind drags him back down. Duncan avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Blind. Blind landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Duncan is trying to control Blind's posture but Blind avoids it. Duncan is not content to let Blind control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Blind postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Duncan is trying to get back to his feet.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Duncan shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Blind manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Duncan passes Blind's left leg - he's now in half guard. Duncan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Blind is just riding it out for now. Duncan eventually gives up the hold. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quinten Duncan dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Blind gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Duncan counters with a takedown into side control. Duncan scores with a couple of short elbows. Blind tries to bench press Duncan off him but Duncan keeps the position. Duncan landing a few strikes. Blind taking a bit of punishment here - Duncan scoring with strikes. Duncan scoring with punches from side control. Duncan tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Duncan works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Duncan has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Left hook, right uppercut from Duncan. Duncan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Blind clinches. Blind decides to pull guard. Duncan looking to sit in guard and control but Blind gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Duncan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Duncan wants to stand but Blind is controlling the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blind wants to control from the top but Duncan keeps moving. Blind thows a big elbow that misses. Blind throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Blind stopping the sweep attempt from Duncan. Blind will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Duncan is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Blind decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Duncan is trying to stand.
Blind wants to lay and pray for a moment but Duncan keeps working. Duncan wants to improve his position but Blind is controlling well.

Duncan is concentrating on defense, preventing Blind from advancing position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blind is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Duncan is looking to improve his position.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Duncan looks for a takedown but Blind sprawls well. Blind tries for a takedown but Duncan circles away easily and Duncan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Duncan trying to control from half guard but Blind is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Quinten Duncan showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Duncan closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Duncan lands in his opponent's guard. Duncan loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Quinten Duncan has got the better of the ground game so far. Duncan looking to pass the guard. Blind lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Duncan!

Blind misses with a head shot. Blind putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Duncan is looking to get to half guard. Blind scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Duncan?
Blind looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blind dominating with strikes here. Poor strikes thrown by Blind there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Blind goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Duncan turns into him and now he's in Blind's guard.
Duncan wants to control from the top but Blind keeps moving. Blind has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Duncan slips nicely into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Duncan working the head and body with strikes. Duncan decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet. The fight stays on the outside here - Duncan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Blind gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Blind wants to sweep here but Duncan controlling him for the moment. Duncan stands and steps away. Blind gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Quinten Duncan. I've got Duncan winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
