Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tom Jenkins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Felix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, John Roberts and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jenkins is looking to clinch.
Jenkins has a takedown stuffed.
Felix dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Jenkins. That did some damage!
Felix tries to close the distance and clinch up but Jenkins swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Felix fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jenkins sprawls well initially but Felix persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Felix wants to get back to his feet.
Jenkins is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Felix's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Felix's back!
Felix looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Felix covering up well and avoiding damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Felix breaks Jenkins's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Felix seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Jenkins does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Felix tries to bum rush Jenkins with a series of wild strikes but Jenkins uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Felix misses with a few strikes there.

Felix doesn't manage to clinch there - Jenkins circles away.
Jenkins looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Felix slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Jenkins wants to control from the top but Felix keeps moving.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jenkins moves in looking to clinch but Felix pushes him off.

Felix swats away the attempt to clinch by Jenkins.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Felix escapes and gets back to his feet.
Felix closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Tom Jenkins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Felix misses with a few strikes there.

Jenkins shoots in but Felix avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Felix throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Jenkins cracks Felix with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
The cut above Junior Felix's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
