Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Antunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luiz Marchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Luiz Marchi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Antunes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Marchi sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Antunes somewhat.
Antunes scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Marchi manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Antunes is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Marchi defends it well.
Marchi is trying to control but can't.
Antunes trying to control from Marchi's half guard. Marchi has other ideas though and has regained full guard.
Antunes thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marchi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Antunes avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Antunes has gone for a leg lock! Marchi slips out almost immediately though and dives into Antunes's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Antunes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Marchi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Antunes is breathing heavily.
Marchi trying to control but Antunes is working from the bottom.
Marchi works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Antunes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Marchi is working for a kimura but Antunes is defending it quite comfortably.
Antunes is refusing to be controlled, as Marchi sits in half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Marchi wants to control but Antunes is keeping him busy.
