Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Weston (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Zeke Stortz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stortz has chosen CkY - 96 Quite Bitter Beings as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weston shoots in for a takedown but Stortz shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Weston fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Stortz avoids it really well and circles away.
No luck for Weston with that takedown attempt.

Stortz throws a right and a left that Weston avoids nicely.
Stortz closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Stortz lands in his opponent's guard.

Weston is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Stortz scores with a couple of nice shots.
Stortz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Weston with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

and Stortz counters with a single leg into guard. Weston didn't expect that.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

and Stortz counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Stortz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Weston does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Stortz cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Stortz has control of Weston's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Weston regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Stortz lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Stortz swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!
