Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Trevor Robertson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gronk Groenhud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Robertson comes into the arena with The Proclaimers - 500 Miles blaring out of the sound system. Groenhud is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sometime Lonely by Kelly Chen. Gronk Groenhud has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Trevor Robertson's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some wild striking there from Robertson.
Robertson bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Groenhud managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Robertson.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Groenhud is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Robertson.
Robertson throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Groenhud was covering up waiting for the punch and Robertson finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Robertson tries to score with some ground and pound. Groenhud controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Robertson is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Robertson creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Groenhud sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

That was a close round but I would say that Trevor Robertson will probably get the nod.

Groenhud tries to lock up and control but Robertson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Groenhud tries to improve his position but Robertson has taken his back! Robertson has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Groenhud tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Robertson pushes Groenhud away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
