Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Talsar Vermillion (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Frank Shamrock (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vermillion comes to the cage accompanied by Undead. Talsar Vermillion has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Albert Achterberg and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight stays on the outside here - Vermillion looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Vermillion wants to clinch.

Vermillion jumps guard and drags Shamrock to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shamrock looking to pass the guard.
Vermillion wants to stand and escape but Shamrock is having none of it.
Vermillion keeping moving, preventing Shamrock from controlling successfully.
Shamrock works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Vermillion wants to control but Shamrock is keeping busy.
Shamrock is trying to work for a kimura but Vermillion is defending well.
Vermillion is looking to improve his position.
Vermillion keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.
Shamrock passes the guard and advances to mount!
Vermillion tries to hold on but Shamrock pushes him away.
Shamrock looking to secure an arm triangle but Vermillion defends it well.
Vermillion tries to buck Shamrock off but he can't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shamrock scores with a couple of good head shots there.
You get the feeling that Vermillion really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Vermillion is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

Shamrock is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Vermillion to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Vermillion shrugs it off.
Shamrock looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Vermillion tries to hold on but Shamrock postures up.
Vermillion is flailing around, obviously not happy about being mounted. Shamrock locks hold of one of his arms and spins for an armbar. He's got it! Vermillion is forced to tap!
