Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jasper Corpuz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Jones's choice of entrance music: Ride The Lightning - Metallica. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Corpuz swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Jones swinging wilding here.
Corpuz fails with the takedown.
Jones swings for the body but Corpuz moves out of range.
David Jones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Corpuz changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Jones looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Corpuz tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Corpuz has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Jones wants to get back to his feet but Corpuz drags him back down.
Jones is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Corpuz misses with the ground and pound.
Corpuz lands a decent elbow from side control.
