Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nick Mondo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Park Sun Gogoplata (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Nick Mondo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Park Sun Gogoplata! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gogoplata slips a jab and a cross from Mondo.
Gogoplata gets a clinch. Gogoplata avoiding damage.
Gogoplata jumps guard and drags Mondo to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mondo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gogoplata is proving hard to escape from. Gogoplata seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Gogoplata wants to sweep here but Mondo controlling him for the moment. Mondo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mondo is fighting to break Gogoplata's control of his arms but Gogoplata is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Mondo is looking to stand up but Gogoplata won't let him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mondo in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Gogoplata has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Mondo throws a big right hand that misses. Gogoplata is pulling down on Mondo's head. It's preventing any offense from Mondo, at least for the moment. Gogoplata has his feet on Mondo's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Mondo fails to land with a series of punches.
Nick Mondo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gogoplata shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gogoplata was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mondo tries to reverse the position but Gogoplata maintains control. Gogoplata lands a big shot there that rocks Mondo but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Mondo is trying to escape the mount.
Mondo is breathing heavily. Gogoplata looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Gogoplata working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Mondo turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Gogoplata off and cradles Mondo's limp body as Gogoplata celebrates with his corner.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Anaconda Choke). Park Sun Gogoplata!
