The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gibbs swinging wildly here.
A jab from Gibbs finds it's way through Cech's defenses.
Cech shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gibbs sprawls well. Gibbs wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cech gets slowly back to his feet.
Gibbs throws a half hearted mid kick.

Cech tries to kick Gibbs off but Gibbs keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Gibbs is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Cech defends well.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Cech is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.

Cech lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.

Cech breaks from Gibbs's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Gibbs is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Cech lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Gibbs is bucking up trying to escape but Cech cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Cech is breathing heavily.
Cech prevents Gibbs from getting the reversal.

Cech is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Gibbs is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Gibbs flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Cech anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Gibbs and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Cech slips an arm under Gibbs chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Cech has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Cech is squeezing on Gibbs like an anaconda would it's prey. Gibbs fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
