Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Trevor Gratis and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Leazer staying out of range there.
Thompson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Thompson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Leazer shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Thompson's guard.
Thompson is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Leazer wants to stand and escape but instead Thompson has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Thompson postures up.
Leazer has his foot on Thompson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Thompson works his way back into a safe position though.
Thompson distracts Leazer with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Thompson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leazer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Leazer has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Thompson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Thompson is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Thompson's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Thompson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Leazer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Leazer is looking to stand up but Thompson isn't so interested in that idea.
Leazer is breathing heavily.
Thompson slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Leazer is not content to let Thompson control the position.
Leazer is trying to control Thompson's posture but Thompson avoids it.

Leazer is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Thompson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Thompson in particular looking to stall.

Thompson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Leazer with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
A punch lands to the side of Leazer 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Leazer tries to score a power double leg takedown but Thompson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leazer somewhat.
Thompson drops Leazer with a big left hand! Leazer is injured, injured bad! Thompson jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
