Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Eric Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trevor Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Alec Ball and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Parker is fending him off so far but Smith persists. Nope, Parker circles away and we're back to standing.
Smith shoots in for a double leg but Parker sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Smith shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Smith was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Smith mounts Parker! Really nice guard pass there!
Smith content just to control the position here.
Smith has control of Parker's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Parker regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Smith sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!
Smith has hold of Parker's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Parker manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Smith avoids the attempt from Parker to control.
Smith moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Parker has worked his arm free - good work by Parker!
Smith looks gassed!
Smith wants to lay and pray for a moment but Parker keeps working.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Parker is trying to control Smith's posture but Smith avoids it.
Parker stops Smith from passing to mount.
Smith is looking to take a break and control but Parker is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Parker is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Smith thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Parker tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Smith wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Smith working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Parker takes the fight into the clinch.
Parker manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Parker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Smith avoids the head kick by Parker.
Smith fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Parker avoids it really well and circles away.
Eric Parker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Trevor Smith.
Parker drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

and Parker counters with a big head kick but Smith shrugs it off.

Smith is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Parker with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head.
Parker is trying to trip Smith. He has hold of a leg but Smith is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Parker persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Smith is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Parker knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Smith on the ground.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Parker closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Parker is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Smith can't fight it off and eventually Parker manages to take the fight to the floor. Smith looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Smith wants to sweep but no luck.
Parker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Smith swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Parker rushes Smith and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Smith has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Parker is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
