Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Bruno Hogan and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Montgomery.
Montgomery throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Sho Kazuki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Montgomery's corner calls for a 1-2. Montgomery obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Kazuki scores with a one two! Montgomery had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Montgomery holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Kazuki tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Montgomery smiles and moves away.
Montgomery uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Kazuki.
Kazuki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Montgomery moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Montgomery throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kazuki throws a left and a right that both miss
and Montgomery counters with a nice leg kick.
Kazuki is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Kazuki takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Montgomery plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Montgomery darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kazuki is rocked!
Montgomery connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks Kazuki out cold! This one is over in a flash!
