Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Professor F (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel LaRusso (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). F comes to the cage accompanied by shortest man in world. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Professor F! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Daniel LaRusso! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! LaRusso just misses with a punch to the body.
LaRusso on the wrong end of a nice hook. LaRusso throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck F on the side of the head. F shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. F misses with a looping right. LaRusso with a body punch. A glancing blow. F is looking to clinch. Daniel LaRusso seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A punch combination from LaRusso misses. F shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. LaRusso throws a right hand that F ducks under and follows up with a left that F also avoids with ease. F looks to land a right hand but LaRusso moved out of range. LaRusso just misses with a punch to the body.
F gets a takedown into half guard. F seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
That's one minute gone in the round. F has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Professor F just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. F dodges the punch combination from LaRusso.
LaRusso jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
LaRusso swings for the body but F moves out of range.
Daniel LaRusso is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. LaRusso misses with a wild body shot. LaRusso bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. LaRusso tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but F was well out of range. Poor timing from LaRusso. F dodges the punch combination from LaRusso.

That's three minutes gone in the round. F closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming LaRusso to the mat! LaRusso manages to get full guard. F is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. F lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. LaRusso being controlled here, momentarily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. F stands up over LaRusso, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. LaRusso avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. LaRusso utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. F is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Professor F dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
F missing with a left hand there. LaRusso was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. A looping hook to the body misses from F. LaRusso does a little dance to reset his feet. F shoots in and drives through. LaRusso sprawls well. F tries for a takedown but LaRusso sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. LaRusso lands a straight punch to the body, keeping F at a distance.
LaRusso moves away from the strike by F. LaRusso just misses with a punch to the body.

LaRusso ducks under a wild hook from F. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. LaRusso connects with a good right hand that stumbles F. F circles away out of range and recomposes himself. F throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
F throws an uppercut from half a mile away. LaRusso sees it coming and avoids it easily. F closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
That's one minute gone in the round. LaRusso fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. F looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. F shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than F was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! F misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.
F takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. LaRusso is really trying hard to get back to his feet.
LaRusso is squirming around, avoiding F's attempts to control the action. F lands with some vicious ground and pound - can LaRusso hang on?
That's two minutes gone in the round. F sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. F with a couple of short strikes. F has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. F looking to finish with strikes here!
LaRusso wants to hold on but F pushes him away. F content just to control the position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. F thowing shots but they're missing. F sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. LaRusso is bucking up trying to escape but F cracks him with another couple of good strikes. F controlling from mount. LaRusso keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Professor F dominated that second round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
LaRusso tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but F was well out of range. Poor timing from LaRusso. F drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. F working the strikes but LaRusso uses the opportunity to regain half guard. F keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. LaRusso is looking to improve his position.
LaRusso wants to get back to his feet. F thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. F trying to control the pace.
That's one minute gone in the round. F thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed LaRusso's head. F controlling the action here. Professor F overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee stands the fighters back up. Professor F just wasn't active enough from the dominant position. F fakes high and swings low for a body shot but LaRusso manages to avoid it. F throws a body punch but LaRusso moves out of range. LaRusso slips a jab from F. F ducks under a wild hook from LaRusso. LaRusso defending well as F loads up on a big left hand. LaRusso paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. LaRusso throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. LaRusso misses with a few strikes there.
F looks to score with a jab to the body but LaRusso is just out of range. F has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from F there as he acknowledges the shot. LaRusso misses with a few strikes there.

F shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. LaRusso manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. F wants to control from the top but LaRusso keeps moving. F controls from within his opponent's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as F accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. LaRusso is adopting a defensive guard. F with a flurry of punches that miss. LaRusso being controlled here, momentarily. LaRusso keeping moving, preventing F from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. F stops LaRusso from standing up. F stays in close to LaRusso's body and controls the position. Daniel LaRusso has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! F postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. F with a nice head shot there.
And that's the end of the fight! Professor F showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for F, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
