Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Peter Drsnak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Drsnak has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Drsnak! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Scott! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Tiny Johnson and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Scott decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Drsnak is defending against the submission attempts here by Scott.
Scott not landing any meaningful shots this time. Scott seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Drsnak does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Scott has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Drsnak tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Drsnak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Scott is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Scott blocks Drsnak's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Drsnak tries to hold on but Scott postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Scott trying to control but he's not successful this time. A nice elbow there by Scott. Drsnak is trying to escape the mount.
Drsnak is trying to stand. Scott with a couple of short strikes. Drsnak is squirming around, avoiding Scott's attempts to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Drsnak sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Drsnak knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Scott on the ground. Drsnak is refusing to be controlled, as Scott sits in half guard. Drsnak won't allow Scott to pass to mount. Drsnak really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Drsnak tries to kick Scott off but Scott keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Drsnak is breathing heavily. Scott is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Drsnak sees it coming and defends easily. Scott frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Scott jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Drsnak manages to avoid the submission attempt. Scott tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Scott has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Scott decides to take the fight back to the feet. Scott gets caught flat footed, as Drsnak shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Scott keeping moving, preventing Drsnak from controlling successfully. Scott looking for a sweep. Not yet Scott, not yet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Drsnak trying to control the position from guard on top but Scott is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Drsnak stands up and waves to Scott to follow him. Drsnak clinches. Drsnak trying to control the position but instead, Scott has worked for underhooks and has pushed Drsnak into the cage. Scott is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Drsnak can't fight it off and eventually Scott manages to take the fight to the floor. Drsnak looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Scott throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Drsnak works some decent striking defense from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Scott dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Scott shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Drsnak pulls Scott in to control the position. Drsnak trying to keep a closed guard but Scott is proving a slippery customer.
Scott trying to control the position from guard on top but Drsnak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Drsnak is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Scott forces his way into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Drsnak is not content to let Scott control the position. Scott is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Drsnak sees it coming and defends easily. Drsnak is looking for a sweep. Scott is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Scott postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Drsnak to stand up. Scott shoots and misses and Drsnak counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Scott's guard now. Scott has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Drsnak doesn't defend quickly enough and Scott has managed to lock this one up! Can Drsnak escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Scott on a fantastic submission victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:03 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Jason Scott!
