Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Frank Murray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fortune Cookie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cookie comes into a darkened arena with his song building. . kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Fortune Cookie enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Frank Murray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 1, fighting out of New York, Fortune Cookie! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, David Schapiro and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cookie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Cookie throws an overhand right that lands on Murray's shoulder, as Murray tries to avoid the shot. Murray drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Murray in the domination position with Cookie hanging on. Cookie is trying to control Murray's posture but Murray avoids it. Murray sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Cookie is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Cookie is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Murray's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Cookie wants to get back to full guard. Cookie has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Murray is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cookie is holding on to half guard well. Murray takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Murray is trying to work for a kimura but Cookie is defending well.
Murray wants to lay and pray for a moment but Cookie keeps working. Cookie is looking to control Murray's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cookie avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. The fighters are battling for position here. Cookie manages to regain full guard. Nice work. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Cookie preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Murray has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Murray trying to control but Cookie is working from the bottom. Murrayis looking to pass into half guard but Cookie pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Cookie is in guard. Murray on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Murray tries to get out of the position. Cookie postures up and lands a big shot to Murray's brow. Cookie controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Murray has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Cookie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Murray throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Cookie trying to control the position from guard on top but Murray is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Cookie slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Cookie wants to control from the top but Murray keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Murray wants to stand and escape but Cookie is having none of it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cookie dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Cookie throws a right and a left that Murray avoids nicely. Murray ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Cookie pivots, looking for a leg kick but Murray is out of range and Cookie settles back down. Murray looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Cookie is fending him off so far but Murray persists. Nope, Cookie circles away and we're back to standing. Cookie lands a nice looking body shot.
Cookie dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Cookie.
Murray is breathing heavily. Cookie throws a shot to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Murray. Cookie does a little dance to reset his feet. Cookie connects with the punch. Good standup being displayed there by Cookie as he connects with a hook. Cookie getting the better of the striking in that exchange. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Cookie listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fortune Cookie dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Jab from Cookie. Cookie fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Murray on the side of the head. Murray throws a combination that misses and Cookie cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Murray is rocked! Murray misses with a takedown attempt and Cookie counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Oh Murray is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cookie lands with a right that hurts Murray. Murray looks to clinch but Cookie throws a short knee that drops Murray. This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:20 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Fortune Cookie!
