The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lapid lands a jab.
Boran is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
A big left from Boran misses.
Lapid works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lapid moves out of range of the strikes.
Lapid takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

It looks like Manuel Lapid has been cut.
Boran could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Boran misses with a looping left.
Lapid waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Boran.
Lapid throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Boran sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boran, as that shot connected.
Lapid moves out of range as Boran strikes.
Boran loads up on a big right hand but Lapid slips the punch.
Lapid walks into a stiff left hand from Boran.
Lapid ducks under a wild hook from Boran.
Boran throws a shot from downtown. Lapid moves away and avoids it.
Lapid displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Boran throws out the jab.
A decent looking cross lands there for Boran.
Boran is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Boran throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boran loads up on a big right hand but Lapid slips the punch.
Lapid staying out of range there.
Boran with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lapid to score with a decent uppercut.
Lapid throws a lazy right hand but Boran sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Boran avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lapid moves out of range as Boran strikes.
Lapid throws a hook but Boran blocks it.
Lapid jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Boran steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lapid.
Boran misses with a looping right.
Nice defenses there by Lapid.
Lapid throws a lazy right hand but Boran sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
The fighters circle momentarily. Lapid darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Lapid throws a jab when Boran was well out of range.
Boran feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Lapid crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
