Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lonnie Kiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ground Pounder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lonnie Kiger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ground Pounder! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Kiger.
Pounder ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kiger moves away. Kiger shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Pounder sprawls well. Pounder wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kiger gets slowly back to his feet. Kiger throws a right and a left that both miss. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Pounder. Pounder blocks a jab. Pounder feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Kiger wants to sweep but no luck. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pounder passes into half guard. Kiger tries to roll over but Pounder keeps him under control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiger looking for a kimura from the bottom but Pounder passes into side control! Kiger is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Pounder is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Kiger is looking to improve his position but Pounder isn't that keen on the idea. Pounder takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Kiger is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Pounder controlling from mount. Kiger is looking to get to half guard. Kiger is working hard here to advance position. Pounder controlling from the full mount. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Kiger is looking to improve his position but Pounder isn't that keen on the idea.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pounder controlling his opponent. Kiger keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Pounder controlling his opponent. Pounder prevents Kiger from getting the reversal. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Pounder controlling the pace for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ground Pounder dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Kiger misses with a few strikes there.
Lonnie Kiger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kiger misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pounder.
Pounder fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Pounder changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Kiger throws a solid leg kick but Pounder takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kiger. Kiger throws a low kick but Pounder avoids it. Pounder scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
A combination from Kiger does no damage. Pounder lands a nice shot to the body.
Kiger throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Pounder counters with a big head kick but Kiger shrugs it off. Pounder tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Kiger was well out of range. Poor timing from Pounder. Kiger scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Kiger tries to land a leg kick but Pounder saw it coming and moves away.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Pounder, right into the meat.
Kiger misses with a combination
and Pounder makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Kiger takes a shot right to the bread basket. Pounder throws a nice inside leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Pounder fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kiger sprawls well initially but Pounder persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Well, if Pounder is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pounder has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Pounder controlling his opponent. Pounder prevents Kiger from getting the reversal. Pounder content just to control the position here. Kiger can't escape the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Kiger bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Kiger preventing the sweep. Kiger is pushing down on Pounder's leg trying to pass to half guard. Pounder is fighting to maintain full guard but Kiger has managed to sneak the leg through. Kiger looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Kiger is working for an americana but Pounder has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Kiger was thinking about the submission.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pounder manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Kiger is looking to improve his position but Pounder isn't that keen on the idea. Kiger wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Kiger is looking to improve his position but Pounder isn't that keen on the idea. You get the feeling that Kiger really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Kiger is trying desperately to improve position. Kiger sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Kiger might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Pounder content to control rather than advance. Kiger has a hand on Pounder's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Pounder takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ground Pounder showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. And we move into the final round!
Kiger keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Pounder bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kiger uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Pounder.
Pounder throws a wild body kick that Kiger sees coming a mile off. Kiger misses with an uppercut. Pounder saw that one coming. Pounder lands a nice shot to the body.
Kiger is looking to clinch. Kiger shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pounder is trying to defend but Kiger finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Pounder preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Pounder wants to get back to his feet. Kiger is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiger is working for a kimura but Pounder is defending it quite comfortably.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kiger throws a strike but Pounder avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Kiger drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pounder looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pounder looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pounder! Kiger tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Pounder works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head. Kiger tries to improve position but can't. Kiger looking for a sweep but Pounder has passed into full mount! Oh no! Kiger is desperately trying to improve his position but Pounder has a good base and remains in mount. Pounder controlling the pace for now. Kiger is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pounder controlling the position easily from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Kiger is desperately trying to improve his position but Pounder has a good base and remains in mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pounder tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Kiger is looking to improve his position but Pounder isn't that keen on the idea. Lonnie Kiger has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ground Pounder is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Pounder tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
And that's the end of the fight! Ground Pounder comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Pounder has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
