Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Enrique Rodrigo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Bummin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Bummin's choice of entrance music: Self Recorded. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bummin drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Rodrigo makes his way to full guard, as Bummin worked for a kimura.

That was a close round but I would say that Enrique Rodrigo will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Rodrigo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bummin is just riding it out for now. Rodrigo eventually gives up the hold.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

so Rodrigo counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.

The referee asks Rodrigo politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Rodrigo prefers to stall for the moment though.
