Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimbo Slice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Igor Tatov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Slice comes to the cage accompanied by Hit em' Up. Tatov has chosen Superunknown as his entrance music. Kimbo Slice could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Igor Tatov's chin.

The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Dillan Fox and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tatov swings for the body but Slice moves out of range.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Slice.
Tatov throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Tatov looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Tatov throws a hook but Slice blocks it.

Igor Tatov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Slice avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
A punch lands to the side of Slice 's head but he takes it in his stride.

Tatov throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Tatov lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Slice throws a right and a left that Tatov avoids nicely.
Slice tries to bum rush Tatov with a series of wild strikes but Tatov uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Tatov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Slice's waist but Slice gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tatov off to one side.

and Slice counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Slice throws out a powerful jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Slice. That snapped Tatov's head back.
Slice moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Slice takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Slice throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

and Slice counters with a one-two to the body.

Tatov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Slice.
Tatov throws a lazy right hand but Slice sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A left lands for Tatov.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Tatov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Slice circles away quickly and effectively.
Tatov misses with the body kick
and Slice counters with a nice leg kick.
Tatov lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Tatov looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Tatov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Kimbo Slice has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Igor Tatov.
Tatov is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Slice.

Tatov throws a combination that misses
and Slice counters with a two punch combo.

Tatov missing with a left hand there. Slice was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Slice catches Tatov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Tatov shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Slice's guard.

Tatov has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Slice really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Tatov is stalling in the full guard.
Tatov postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Slice will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Slice throws a right and a left that Tatov avoids nicely.
Tatov slips a jab and a cross from Slice.
Slice pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tatov is out of range and Slice settles back down.
Slice bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Slice uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Tatov.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Tatov throws a hook but Slice avoids it easily.

and Tatov counters with a left to the body.
Tatov misses with an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Igor Tatov will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Slice lands with a shot to the body.
Slice scores with the left hand. Tatov knows he should have avoided that one.
Tatov gets the takedown into side control.
Tatov wants to control but Slice is keeping him busy.
Tatov throws an elbow but Slice slips to the side and avoids it well.
Tatov tries to advance to mount but can't.
Tatov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slice keeps working.
Tatov is chipping away with strikes.
Slice parries the strikes from Tatov easily there. Tatov is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Slice to escape.
Slice knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Tatov on the ground.

Tatov happy to just control the position for now.
Tatov is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Slice has escaped the position, nice work there.
Tatov wants to control but Slice is keeping him busy.
Tatov lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Slice is trying to get back to his feet.
Slice is not content to let Tatov control the position.

Tatov wants to lay and pray for a moment but Slice keeps working.

Tatov is looking to take a break and control but Slice is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Tatov has an Americana. Slice didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tatov is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tatov hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
