The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Castle swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Slash bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Slash uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Castle.
Slash misses with a takedown attempt - Castle sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Castle connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.

Castle is pulling down on Slash's head. It's preventing any offense from Slash, at least for the moment.
Slash's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Slash drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Castle dives on top into guard.

Slash isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Castle stacks Slash on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Castle!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


Slash moves out of range as Castle strikes.
Castle goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Castle throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Slash has his takedown stuffed
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
and Castle cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

A telegraphed right hand from Castle misses the target.
Castle is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches.
Slash shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Castle throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Castle looks to land a left hand but Slash moved out of range nicely.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
