Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between the goon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mad Reid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reid comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Drop the world kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
goon takes a shot to the body in his stride.
goon tries for a takedown but Reid sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Reid misses with a series of wild punches.
goon slips under a jab.
Reid scores with a jab to the head.
goon misses with a series of wild punches.
Reid tries to bum rush goon with a series of wild strikes but goon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Reid throws out a loose jab but goon uses good head movement to avoid it.

Reid throws the left hand but goon avoids the punch easily.
goon closes the distance and clinches up with Reid, looking for a takedown. goon pushes Reid against the cage but Reid circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
goon thows a left - swing and a miss!
goon avoids the body shot from Reid.
goon loads up on a big right hand but Reid slips the punch.
Reid scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Reid ducks under a wild hook from goon.
goon throws and low kick but Reid moves out of range easily.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Reid swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Reid uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before goon has time to react.
goon closes the distance and clinches up with Reid, looking for a takedown. goon pushes Reid against the cage but Reid circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for the goon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
goon uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reid.
Mad Reid seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Reid lands a nice looking body shot.
goon has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Reid misses with a looping left.
goon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Reid catches goon with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Reid moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Reid throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent goon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Reid darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Reid ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
goon uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Reid.

Reid comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
goon gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Reid.
A right-left combo lands from Reid.
Reid lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Reid thows a body shot but no joy.
Mad Reid is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Reid looks to land a combination. goon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Reid tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but goon was well out of range. Poor timing from Reid.

Reid throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

so goon counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
goon wants to pass the guard but Reid is keeping the position.

Reid really doesn't want to stay on the ground with goon. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Reid wants to stand but goon is controlling the position.
goon advances position into side control!

goon tries for a kimura but Reid is defending well.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

goon tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no goon has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

goon in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Reid is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
