Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alex Karkov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert Albert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Albert has chosen Godsmack! as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Albert closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
Albert has knee on belly momentarily but Karkov bucks him off and regains half guard.
Albert scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Karkov tries to get to full guard but Albert has control of the leg.
Albert works his way into full mount!
Albert is landing with some decent strikes but Karkov is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

BOOM! Albert connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Albert goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Karkov is on top in guard.
Karkov won't allow Albert to sweep him here.
Albert manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Karkov manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Karkov is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Albert is controlling him.

Karkov is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Karkov is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Albert slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Karkov is pushing Albert's head away, looking to escape. Albert manages to hold on to the position though.
Karkov is breathing heavily.
Albert connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Karkov some visible discomfort.

Karkov tries to improve position but can't.

Albert has hold of Karkov's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Karkov tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Albert cranks the arm and Karkov screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Karkov, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
