Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vlatko Simovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Liam Kay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Simovic might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Citizen Cope - Let the Drummer Kick. Kay has chosen DMX - Where Da Hood At as his entrance music. Vlatko Simovic has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Simovic instigates a clinch.
Kay wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kay is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Simovic drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Kay gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Simovic drops back looking for a leg! Kay is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kay manages to kick Simovic off! Simovic jumps back into Kay's guard.

Simovic seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Kay for as long as he can get away with.
Simovic wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kay keeps working.

Simovic working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Kay doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Kay manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Simovic goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kay has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Simovic but great work by Kay.

The crowd hopeful of a finish here - Simovic's supporters are on their feet, screaming for him to go for the rear naked choke.

Simovic has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Kay is defending well but eventually Simovic manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Kay has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
