Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Pasha Pavlenko!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Fred Stone!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Igor Prikhodko.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone misses with a takedown attempt - Pavlenko sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Stone closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Pavlenko to the mat! Pavlenko manages to get full guard.
Pavlenko really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Pavlenko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Stone cracks Pavlenko with a solid left hand.
Stone tries to free his leg and advance position but Pavlenko is retaining full guard.
Stone trying to control but Pavlenko is working from the bottom.
Pavlenko is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Stone is controlling him.
Pavlenko avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Stone's corner is telling him to maintain position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Stone cracks Pavlenko with a solid left hand.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Stone's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Stone is looking to work some ground and pound but Pavlenko has wrist control.
Stone connects with a couple of short punches.
Pavlenko wants to stand and escape but Stone is having none of it.
Stone works over Pavlenko with some ground and pound from guard.
Stone stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pavlenko swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Pavlenko is breathing heavily.
Stone working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Pavlenko's head.
Stone landing some decent shots from guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pavlenko doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Stone postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Stone slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Stone with a nice head shot there.
Stone's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Stone with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stone controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Stone's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Stone pushing down on Pavlenko's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Stone lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Stone looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Stone with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Stone working the head and body with strikes.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Stone is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Stone lands a nice shot to the head.
Stone lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Stone punishing his opponent with strikes.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A nice elbow there by Stone.


It looks like Pasha Pavlenko has been cut.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Stone scoring with strikes but Pavlenko is staying in there.
Stone with good strikes from the mount here!


Pavlenko is rocked!
Stone with a couple of short strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fred Stone dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Pasha Pavlenko's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Stone throws a nice looking combination but Pavlenko bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.


Pasha Pavlenko's cut is getting worse.
Stone keeps the fight on the outside.
Stone stuffs the takedown attempt from Pavlenko. Pavlenko gets slowly back to his feet.

Stone catches Pavlenko napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Pavlenko to the canvas!
Oh Pavlenko is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!


Pasha Pavlenko's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Stone postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Pavlenko covers up, he's hurt! Stone keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Stone and the ref steps in to end the fight! Stone can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Fred Stone!
