The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Paw jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Paw throws a body punch but Vasconcelos moves out of range.
Vasconcelos moves out of range as Paw strikes.
Nice takedown defense from Paw. No joy for Vasconcelos on that attempt.
Paw works Vasconcelos's body with a nice hook.
Paw stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Paw looks to land a right hand but Vasconcelos moved out of range.
Vasconcelos shoots for a double leg takedown but Paw sprawls well. He's pushed Vasconcelos's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Vasconcelos on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Paw throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Paw changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Paw scores with a sloppy right hand. Vasconcelos should have avoided that one.

Paw connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Vasconcelos seems to have recovered his senses.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Vasconcelos walks straight into a right hand from Paw - that's dropped him! Paw jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Vasconcelos from any more punishment! Vasconcelos complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
